The History of St Tewdrics House

St Tewdrics House, located in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, has a rich historical background that dates back to the 19th Century. Named after Saint Tewdric, King of Gwent and a great British warrior, the house is an embodiment of a historical legacy that has stood through the test of time. Built in the early 1850s as a private residence, it later became a part of the community’s social fabric over the years, serving various purposes including a school, and later a hotel. Congratulations, you’re engaged and have chosen your date and venue. It’s time to secure your booking and to book your wedding photographer. We can be booked up to 2 years in advance, with the average time being a year before the big day. Don’t worry, if you are getting married sooner than that, please send us a message and we can check our diary.
